How Book One: Air should have ended.
Yeah, it would have been really neat to have seen Korra have to get in touch with the roots of each missing bending style.
What I’d love to see out of an Avatar series would be a war between the spirit world and humans. I’d love to see the Avatar at complete conflict with keeping balance there.
This! Especially with this whole industrial revolution going on, the environmental implications of that, what that would mean for the spirit world - I want that to be explored so badly.
And as for this poignent comic, this is the plot point I mistakenly expected, forgetting that the writers learned too late of their renewed season…I still wish it had happened, but in hindsight, if they thought thhey thought this was the end of Korra’s story, I understand why they had to wrap it up like they did.
That doesn’t excuse the stupid-ass Makorra scene that followed, however.
^^^^ Alllllll off this.
This is everything I expected. I was so hoping that Korra would just turn down Mako like she should have, like she did originally. By just telling him to go. But then she gets her bending back and it’s just like lolokiloveyoutoonvm
fuck that. D:<
i was so excited at the end cos i thought this was what was going to happen, and then….nope here’s ur bendin back also you’re able to spiritbend or whatnot lol gj
i expected this, was really surprised it didn’t happen ): i was hoping for a journey similar to aang’s again instead of OH HAY HERE ARE YOUR POWERS BACK OK GO DO STUFF NOW. that was too easy.
